Pop-Up Notification of IT issues upon Log-in to Koala Go
Polly S
It would be so helpful if teachers were made aware of any IT issues when logging into Koala Go. Many teachers are prepping for classes on Koala Go right before class time begins, and are not actively checking the Facebook group each day before their classes begin to see if there are known IT issues. Having a Pop-Up notification directly on Koala Go (maybe via Chat or something similar) would allow teachers more time to prepare alternate lessons (if the co-browsers are having issues, for example.) Finding out this information (via the suggested pop-up) before a student enters class would give teachers more time to clip/paste lesson slides or upload alternate material to the whiteboard, for example, without any interruption to a student's class time. It would save any embarrassment for the teacher and lessen parent frustration, too--IF teachers actually know and see the notification upon log-in and can then react ahead of time. (Or it would allow us a few extra minutes to let students know that we will have to screenshare, for example.) It may also save your IT support multiple questions happening over chat. All in all, a notification directly on Koala Go would keep teachers/student from losing any class time trying to troubleshoot.
