A chatbox with translation capabilities for the student/teacher to communicate. The student could type in Chinese and then I could translate into English and vice versa. Most companies such as GOGOKID and VIPKID offered this within the classroom and it is very helpful. I have attached a few photos of examples.

Yes, I would like to use a chat with students to make it easy to share links. I haven't used a platform with translation, but I would like that.

A chat feature would be very helpful in all modes. I use this a lot to type new words, practice spelling and sentences or just communicate with student and parents if needed.

This ss is from GOGOKID. Sorry! I should have been more clear. I thought Vipkid had a chatbox as well but I could be mistaken. I worked more for GOGOKID.

Alma Crump: VIPKid has a chat box, but I don't know whether it translates. Novakid has that feature, and it's really nice! I've gotten pretty good at bouncing back and forth between teaching and Google Translate, but a built-in translation feature is definitely ideal! Great suggestion!

Alma Crump just out of curiosity, when did vipkid add that? it didn't exist when I was there (I basically stopped in nov 2021 when everything went south). That is pretty neat they added that!
